Charles Evans appointed the new Chair for the Association of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) robotic committee.

Charles: "I was delighted to take up this role. The ACPGBI has recognised the importance of robotics in future colorectal practice across the UK, and this committee is focussed on setting the standards for training, governance and research in robotic colorectal surgery. I am very much looking forward to helping guide this committee forwards."

We developed this course a few years ago to promote this technique and teach it to other surgeons in order to improve outcomes for colon cancer patients. This time, surgeons from Germany, Norway, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria and the UK could learn about the technique and will hopefully implement it in their daily practice."
